EXTRA-LIGHT OFF- ROAD CARAVAN JOINS THE INNOVAN RANGE *continued*

The contribution of an award winning industrial designer is evident in the brilliant use of space. Features include roomy beds with comfortable mattresses which can be used as single beds or as a queen bed configuration.  Other features which are available include a dinette, 85 litre fridge/freezer with a BD50 compressor, toilet, shower, internal and external kitchens and preparation areas, stainless steel gas BBQ, hot water system, air conditioner, television and radio/CD/DVD player.  The caravan also has an area designed especially for a solar panel or a carry rack.

Amazingly, there is about five thousand litres of storage space built into the unit, some of which is accessible from inside, some from outside and some from both inside and outside the units. There would even be room in the front section to sleep a couple of extra people or store a couple of push bikes.

The innovative, aerodynamic shape of both the slide-on and the caravan not only looks stylish, but also contributes to amazing fuel economy.  To change from travel mode to a fully set up unit including the awning takes less than 30 seconds with minimal effort.

The patented feature of these campers, which sets them apart is that when the roof is raised (to almost 3 metres), the enlarged space is surrounded by solid walls (no canvas) and lockable windows and doors.  The composite fibreglass sandwich construction is exceptionally light and strong and has excellent insulation properties as well being long lasting and easy care. 

Innovan campers have been subjected to extreme testing to prove their soundness and performance capabilities.  A slide-on version and a prototype trailed version were taken to Cape York, and through the Simpson Desert via the roughest tracks which could be found, at the maximum speed possible and came through with no problems.
